LUMS Announces Syed Babar Ali Hundred for Hundred Qarz-e-Hasna Fund
LUMS is honoured to celebrate the 100th birthday of Syed Babar Ali, Founding Pro Chancellor of LUMS, whose vision, leadership, and unwavering commitment to excellence, access, and nation-building have shaped generations of leaders and transformed higher education in Pakistan.
To mark this historic occasion, LUMS is proud to announce the establishment of the Syed Babar Ali Hundred for Hundred Qarz-e-Hasna Fund, a PKR 100 million financial assistance initiative made possible through the generosity of the Hundred for Hundred Founding Donors. This distinguished group of LUMS alumni and supporters has come together to honour Babar Sahab’s extraordinary contribution to education and his enduring influence on countless lives.
The Fund reflects Babar Sahab’s lifelong belief in education as a force for opportunity, progress, and nation-building. It will help ensure that talented students, regardless of financial background, can access a LUMS education and pursue their ambitions with confidence.
