LUMS Alumnus Adnan A. Qureshi Wins 2026 Forty Under 40 Global Award
The LUMS community takes immense pride in celebrating the achievement of Adnan Ahmed Qureshi, who has been honoured with the 2026 Forty Under 40 Global Award in the Education category. A graduate of LUMS (BSc 2010) and Harvard University (Education 2015), Adnan currently serves as Vice President, Technology and Learning at Teach the World Foundation (TTWF).
The Forty Under 40 Global Awards recognise exceptional young leaders from around the world through a highly competitive, nomination-based process. Honorees are selected for their leadership, innovation, and the meaningful impact of their work across sectors. Chosen from thousands of applicants globally, Adnan’s recognition places him among a distinguished cohort of changemakers, proudly representing Pakistan on an international stage.
At TTWF, Adnan has played a pivotal role in advancing the organisation’s Digital MicroSchool model, an innovative, technology-drive approach designed to deliver quality education to children affected by the global out-of-school crisis. By leveraging scalable and cost-effective solutions, this model is helping bridge critical gaps in access to education for underserved communities, both in Pakistan and beyond.
This achievement is not only a personal milestone for Adnan but also a powerful validation of TTWF’s mission to ensure that every child, regardless of circumstance, has access to meaningful learning opportunities.
Reflecting on his journey, Adnan shared:
