Dr. Adeel Tariq is an Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) of Economics at the Lahore University of Management Sciences.

A Fulbright Scholar, he holds a PhD in Economics from Binghamton University, an MSc in Economics from the Lahore University of Management Sciences, an MBA from the Lahore School of Economics and a BSc (Hons) in Economics & Management from the University of London.

Dr. Tariq’s current research employs a mix of experimental and traditional econometrics methods in the field of development economics. He is particularly interested in examining industry-level efficiency and productivity, banking sector analysis, market price dynamics and various aspects of the labor market.

His research interests include:

•    Applied Econometrics
•    Applied Microeconomics
•    Labor Economics

Dr. Tariq enjoys reading science-fiction, watching movies and playing sports in his spare time.
