Rizq

Three LUMS alumni had a vision to reroute excess food from restaurants, catering companies and individuals and have them delivered to the needy. To date, their foundation, Rizq, has served over three million meals to the poor. Watch their story and find out how they are ending hunger in Pakistan – one meal at a time.

Shahrukh Swati's Kahani

Shahrukh Swati, BSc 2016, completed his Economics degree at LUMS and went on to become an entrepreneur by launching Nearpeer – a one stop destination for online learning. The organisation approaches students from far-reaching areas of Pakistan, and empowers them with access to top-quality education. Watch how his time at LUMS helped him evolve into a successful entrepreneur.

Alum, Adeela Sarfraz shares her LUMS journey

LUMS BSc 2009 alum, Adeela Sarfraz shares how the National Outreach Programme (NOP) changed her life, taking her from a small village, to LUMS and then greater opportunities abroad. The NOP extends the benefits of a world-class education to every corner of Pakistan by inducting talented students from all over the country into the LUMS undergraduate programmes. To date, LUMS has inducted over 1,300 NOP scholars like Adeela, over 800 of whom have graduated and are out in the world creating impact and giving back to their communities.
