The Salam Award Writers Workshop for Speculative Fiction is pleased to present a session focused on world building—the art of crafting vivid, believable, and compelling fictional universes.
Robert V.S. Redick, the author of Master Assassins and Sidewinders (July 2021), the first two novels in The Fire Sacraments epic fantasy series, will be leading the session. Master Assassins (2018) was a finalist for the European Booknest Award for Best Novel and was featured on numerous Best of the Year lists. Robert is also the author of the Chathrand Voyage Quartet (The Red Wolf Conspiracy and its sequels), a beloved and critically acclaimed series in the epic fantasy genre. With teaching experience in both the Stonecoast and University of Nevada Reno MFA programmes, Robert brings a wealth of expertise and storytelling knowledge to this workshop.
