LUMS welcomes the Class of 2030 to Orientation 2026! The programme helps incoming students make a smooth and confident transition to university life. Through a blend of online and on-campus activities, Orientation introduces students to the academic environment, University resources, and communities that will shape their LUMS experience.
The programme begins with online sessions covering essential aspects of university life, including technology, enrolment and course registration, academic advising, and student support services. These sessions help students become familiar with key processes and resources before they arrive on campus.
On campus, students will connect with their schools and academic communities through welcome sessions with faculty, gaining an understanding of their courses, academic expectations, and resources for academic success. Sessions on academic integrity, wellness, and the transition to university-level learning will introduce students to the opportunities and responsibilities that come with being part of LUMS.
Beyond the classroom, Orientation offers opportunities to meet Peer Ambassadors and Orientation Coaches, connect with classmates, and get to know the wider LUMS community. Student-led sports activities and the Societies Fair will provide opportunities to build connections, explore interests, and become part of campus life.
Together, these experiences offer the Class of 2030 a first glimpse into the academic, social, and community life at LUMS as they begin their university journey.
